While we are always reviewing and updating event costs based on our expenses, Southern Minnesota Alliance LARP strives to keep event fees as affordable as possible. These event fees help pay for our site rental, food, insurance, and other costs.
For most events, there is a discount for registering before the pre-registration deadline, which is normally midnight on Monday before the event in question.
One-Day Faire Events – These events are only one day long, typically running from 9:00 AM until shortly after sun down. These events have a provided lunch meal in the middle of the day.
Weekend Events – These events span a significant portion of the weekend, running from roughly 8:00 PM on Friday (with the camp opening for arrivals at 6:00 PM) until early Sunday morning (packed up and closed by noon). These events have a provided breakfast meal on Saturday morning, a lunch meal Saturday afternoon, and a dinner meal Saturday evening, as well as assorted snacks throughout the event.
In order to provide the best customer service option to our player base, we accept cash, checks, and payments by Visa or MasterCard charge and Debit Cards onsite. Charges are run using a credit swiping device, encrypted through the intuit gopayment network and no card information is saved locally once processed. Due to the merchant fees associated with the card process, an additional charge of $1.50 (for a regular event fee) will be included in your total, if you choose this option.
